Britt and Joel had their wedding ceremony in one of my favourite spots ever….Hickson Street Lookout!
Hickson Street Lookout provides a dazzling backdrop overlooking Burwood Beach. Only 2hrs north of Sydney, the lookout is within easy reach for guests coming from Sydney or the Hunter Valley.
Hickson Street Lookout is also a spot where many paragliders like to take off! We had a paraglider take off while we were setting up, and joked that he should have flown through the centre of the arch when he came in for landing. See pics in our gallery below.
Here is the setup we did for our lovely Micro Wedding package which includes an arch, seating for 20 guests, signing table and chairs, aisle runner, welcome sign and we swapped out the complimentary confetti for some aisle decorations.
Married on a Thursday, Britt and Joel were so lucky that they had such spectacular weather on their wedding day.
I absolutely adore mid-week weddings, its such a nice excuse for your guests to take a break from work.
The weather was SO NICE that I paid the price for forgetting to wear sunscreen and ended up getting slightly burnt on my neck and arms.
We decorated both the ceremony and reception for Britt and Joel!
The reception was held the following Saturday at a family residence.
We supplied the tables and chairs through Craig at Exotic Soirees and we styled the tables with white table cloths and square glass candle holders and tea lights per Britt’s brief.
VENDOR SPOTLIGHT
We worked with some of our favourite vendors to bring Britt and Joel’s vision to life.
